UOD Staff in Germany for Comprising an Exchange Program Report

In the aim of comprising and finalizing the report of a summer educational program of the students of the UOD to Germany, the staff of the Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies Center paid an exploring visit to Germany. The title of the report is "Enhancing Cross-Cultural Exchange: A Case Study of University of Duhok Students in Germany's Summer School Program." This program was supervised by Mrs. Dima Mahjoub from JLU Gießen University and Dr. Jotyar Sadeeq from the University of Duhok.

This initiative is part of the project aimed at promoting dialogue and participation in the educational sector for the German-Iraqi Exchange Network. The project is a collaboration between the Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies at the University of Duhok, the University of Mosul, and JLU Gießen University, funded by DAAD.

The report has been prepared by the staff of the Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies Center, Ms. Shireen Salih Hassan and Ms. Shahad Abdullah M. Raouf, after their participation in a six-month course through the Virtual International Program (VIP). The course is titled "Human Rights Challenges in Migration Policies and Security" and was conducted by Mrs. Dima Mahjoub, a lecturer at JLU Gießen University in Germany. To compile this report, they traveled to Germany for 22 days. During their stay, they engaged in a one-week program comprising workshops, discussions, and field visits. The remaining time was dedicated to exploration in order to gather information for their report.
