On Sunday, December 14, 2024, under the auspices of Dr. Lokman Hadi Hassan, Vice President of UOD for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education, and with the notable presence of Nazar Ameen Mohammed, UOD's Director of Communications; Lieutenant Nabaz Salah Sadiq, Director of Reforms at the Ministry of Peshmerga; and Zak Bazi, Head of (The Spirit of America ), the University of Duhok launched an English language strengthening course tailored for commanders and personnel of the Peshmerga Ministry.
Dr. Lokman Hadi Hassan, expressing the university's commitment, stated, "UOD considers it a solemn responsibility to support the Peshmerga forces. We aim to provide a valuable service to commanders and employees of the Ministry through this course, with the aspiration of fostering future collaborations for the greater benefit of Kurdistan."
Lieutenant Nabaz Salah Sadiq, Director of Reforms in the Ministry of Peshmerga, expressed gratitude towards UOD for initiating the first English language course within Duhok province specifically for the Peshmerga forces. He acknowledged UOD's pivotal role in societal service across diverse domains.
The English language course, organized by UOD's Communications Directorate under the auspices of the US Consulate in Erbil and financially supported by The Spirit of America, will be conducted at the University of Duhok.
