Consul General of India Visits the Duhok University of Duhok

On April 23, 2024, Madan Gopal, the Consul General of India in Erbil, embarked on a visit to the University of Dohuk with the purpose of presenting and elucidating the diverse array of study opportunities that India offers to the students and faculty of the University of Dohuk. Upon arrival, he was graciously welcomed by Dr. Dawood Sulaiman Atrushi, the President of the University of Dohuk.

During the visit, discussions ensued by the Consul General of India and Santosh Kumar from the Consulate General of India in Erbil, encompassing a comprehensive overview of study opportunities in India, along with the delineation of application procedures and guidelines.

Furthermore, the Consul General expounded on the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC), a robust program offering a myriad of training courses across 160 countries. Emphasizing the significance of dialogue and the language of instruction in India, he underscored the potential for this dialogue to fortify the ties between The Duhok University of Duhok and India.

The session culminated in an interactive exchange, where participants posed inquiries, fostering a detailed discourse on the advancement of educational avenues in India.
