In the framework of the Erasmus days 2022 celebration on 13,14 and 15th of Oct, a free webinar focusing on Bologna process, Quality assurance and internationalization in higher education was organized on Friday  dated Oct 14th, under the project APPRAIS.

The moderator of the meeting was Silvia Marchionne, UNIMED Senior Project Manager. The participants were from the ministry of higher education in Kurdistan, Universities from Europe and universities from Kurdistan including university of Suli.  and  university of Duhok who had an active  participation through a presentation submitted by Dr. Lokman H. Hassn, the vice president for Scientific Affairs and postgraduates studies at the UoD.

The webinar aimed to discuss the challenges of the governance, quality assurance and internationalization of higher education institutions, with particular focus on the implementation of the Bologna process in Kurdistan. The webinar was of interest to the actors involved in reviewing the higher education system for an improved quality assurance of teaching, research and third mission, as well as larger internationalization. On top of that it was of interest to those who are interested in applying the Bologna process principles and good practices in higher education.
