HCDP Round Four is Coming Soon
The Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Affairs in the Kurdistan Region has recently announced on its website that the Human Capacity Development Program (HCDP) will be opening soon. This program constitutes scholarships that enable students to continue their master and doctorate studies abroad.
According to the ministry’s website, proficiency testing for English language will be emphasized more during round four of HCDP than the previous three rounds. Applicants must score 4.0 in ILETS or its equivalent as a minimum in order to enter the program. More points gained at the test will be counted as a plus for the applicant; and the highest point level that can be collected will total 20.
HCDP is one of the most important strategic programs at the ministry. One hundred million US. Dollars is allocated for the program every year. So far, three rounds have been announced, and the ministry ensures all the expenses for students to obtain their higher degrees. So far around 2000 students has benefited from HCDP scholarships.
