Extension for Applying to Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Program
An extension for applying to Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Program has been made. The deadline became the 21st of Nov. 2011. According to the Director of Scholarships Directory at the University of Duhok (UoD), Mrs. Payman F. Tahir, “The door is open for all those who would like to apply for master, doctorate and post doctorate studies as well as some other available scholarships”.
Mrs. Payman added “Partner universities within the program, representing by the University of Duhok, Mosul University and Baghdad University, are notified for applications as “Target Group 1”; other applicants from different universities in Iraq are representing “Target Group 2”; whereas the “Target Group 3” is specified for Iraqis who are immigrants staying in countries of the Middle East but not those in Europe.
It is worth mentioning that the last conference for Erasmus Mundus Program was set at the UoD which considers the official representative for the program in Iraq. The UoD had benefited from this program with 65 seats for the last three years. Currently, applicants can apply for these scholarships with less demanding conditions comparing to the other scholarships.
