Employment for the Top Three Students from Different Specialization
The University of Duhok (UoD) announced starting the process of employment for the top three students within different specializations at all schools at the UoD. This announcement was made according to a decision taken by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research in Erbil. The students were all employed as assistant lecturers.
The Director of the Administration Office at the UoD, Mr. Jameel I. Issa, said that the employment process at the Kurdistan Regional Government came as a result of a plan by the ministry to utilize 25,000 employees in various governmental institutions. A total of 116 graduates were accepted to be employed at the university plus another 105 who are the top students for the academic year 2010-2011 would be assistant lecturers.
Efforts were made to employ 23 persons with high school certificates according to special criteria by the higher committee for employment. Moreover, work on renewing the contracts for those whose employments are still under construction is being made. All graduates will start their jobs after the approval by the Ministry of Finance.
