A UoD's Student Wins First Place for Scientific Studies over all other Iraqi Universities
A student from the Faculty of Agriculture & Forestry at the University of Duhok (UoD) won first place for scientific studies for the academic year 2010-2011 all over Iraq. As a result, Abdy Ibrahim was honored by the President of the Council of Representatives of Iraq, Mr. Usama Al Nujaifi.
Mr. Ibrahim studied at the School of Plant Production, at the UoD, where he received an average of 93 out of 100 for the four academic years. He showed his delight for this accomplishment, but at same time, regretted missing the opportunity to obtain a seat for travelling to Saudi Arabia to take part in the annual pilgrimage with other top students.
Another student Kovan M. Ali who is a graduated from the School of Administration & Economics, was awarded first place for literary studies at UoD for the year 2010-2011.
