Stronger Relations between the UoD and Dicle University in Turkey

Following recent steps towards stronger relations between the two universities, a delegation from Dicle University in Turkey visited the UoD on June 5th, 2010. The visiting delegation, consisted of the Vice President and a number of university instructors, who showed keenness to exchange scientific visits between the two universities.


At the Presidency of the UoD, the Turkish delegation was received by Dr.Asmat.M. Khalid, President of the UoD, who confirmed that the UoD doors are open for any scientific and academic activity, showing his pleasure in the visit and the steps taken towards joint works involving the two parties. Previously, Dr. Khalid had visited a number of Turkish universities, including Dicle University, to extend scientific links between the UoD and these universities. .


The UoD has become a scientific gateway in the Kurdistan Region establishing strong relations with many universities in neighboring countries and around the world. Finally the UoD is proud to be a member of a number of international scientific and academic bodies.
