150 University Instructors from Turkey Visit the UoD

A large delegation consisting of 4 university presidents and 150 instructors, visited the UoD from Turkey.

The aim of the visit was to establish stronger relations with Universities from the Kurdistan Region.

At Ibrahim Khalil Border Crossing, the delegation was received by Dr. Dawood Atrushi, Vice President for International Relations at UoD, and Mr. Hamid Ali, Director of the Border Crossing. Arriving in Duhok City, the delegation was formally received by Dr. Asmat M. Khalid, President of UoD, vice presidents, a number of deans and university instructors.

During their visit the Turkish delegation visited a number of colleges, meeting with instructors and students; they also attended a volleyball match at the College of Physical Education.

In the evening, the visitors made a sight-seeing tour of the city were they visited the local market.

The Turkish instructors were very pleased about the way they were received and the courtesy shown to them by the UoD staff and the people of Duhok city.
