"Derived Nouns and Noun Phrases in the Northern and Middle Accents of Kurdish Language"

On January 28th 2010, Mr. Hikmet R,Muhammad, from the College of Arts presented his Master thesis entitled, ‘Derived Nouns and Noun Phrases in Kurdish Language’’,at the Cultural and Social Centre.
The thesis which was supervised by Dr.Bayes Omar was put before a specialist committee who discussed the proposal in detail.
The researcher stressed the importance of the subject in this thesis. He said,’’this topic deals morphologically and syntactically with the deference between derived nouns and noun phrases in two Kurdish dialects; the northern and middle. ‘He went on to say, ‘It also deals with the syntactical rules used to make derived nouns and noun phrases in both dialects, and that all the text and data for this thesis were taken from everyday conversations.’’
After the final discussions were completed, the committee unanimously decided to award the student with a Master Degree.
Hikmat R. Muhammad, from the College of Arts, presented his Master thesis titled “Derived Nouns and Noun Phrases in Kurdish Language” on January 28th, 2010. The thesis, supervised by Dr. Bayes Omar, was discussed by a specialist committee at the Cultural and Social Center.
The researcher stressed the importance of the subject of the thesis; he said “The importance of the thesis is that it deals morphologically and syntactically with the deference between derived nouns and noun phrases in two Kurdish dialects; the northern and the middle”. Furthermore, this thesis deals with the syntactical rules used to make derived nouns and noun phrases in both dialects.
It is worth mentioning that the texts and the data for this thesis were taken from everyday conversations of these two dialects.
After the discussions on this thesis, the committee decided to award the student a Master Degree.
