During his visit to Sweden in January of this year, Dr. Dawood Atrushi, Vice President for International Relations at UoD, made a stop at Lund University

At this present time, the UoD has 6 students studying at the Swedish university for PhD. and Master Degree’s in different specializations.  Later Dr. Atrushi met with the UoD students to access the situation and their needs.
 
Speaking after the meeting, Dr.Atrushi said, “We have a strong relationship with Lund University, like many other universities around the world, and it is planned that the university will send 15 students to visit the UoD for two weeks, for scientific purposes.’’ Dr Atrushi also mentioned, that the group will visit the other Kurdistan governorates during their stay in the region
 
Continuing his visit Dr. Atrushi stopped at the centre of Middle Eastern Studies, where he discussed the possibility of establishing relations through joint activities.
