Swimming is a relaxing sport and pastime and here at the University of Duhok, we have an international swimming pool at the College of Physical Education for you to enjoy.
All staff and registered students have access to the facilities of the pool, with instructors on hand to help you.
The University of Duhok has a good swimming team which competes in regional competitions; all students are free to try out for a place in the team.
In 2009, the UoD swimming team took part and won the Kurdistan Regional Universities Championship which was held in April at Kuye University.
