Facts

The university was established on October 31st, 1992.
The university started with two colleges, the College of Medicine and the College of Agriculture, with 149 students total.
Today, the university contains:

9 Faculties,18 Schools and more than 40 departments.
More than 11,000 undergraduate students and 500 graduate students.
The University has 1000 teaching staff.
More than 10 centers of different specializations.

The university is a member of the following:

Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Windows Program.
International Association of Universities (IAU).
European Association for International Education (EAIA).
Asscociation of Arab Universities (AARU)
