The first University of Duhok Journal issue was published in 1998. The semi-annual “Journal of Duhok University” is a two volume research journal

one for science and the other for humanities.

Each journal is written in Kurdish, Arabic, and English.

Scientific reports, short articles, letters to the editor, and reviews are evaluated by academic peers and experts before being presented for publication.

Articles include coverage of the scientific conferences at the University of Duhok.
