Computing Facilities:
Over the past few years the university has invested substantially in computing facilities in order to ensure all students have access to information systems.
These services provide a wide range of facilities for both undergraduate and graduate students.
These facilities are administrated by the main Computer Center, where computer training courses occur.
The University of Duhok provides computer laboratories and centers for students wanting to practice their computer skills or print their academic projects and documents.
The University also aspires to help students acquire basic skills through the provision of the most up-to-date information and technologies.

There are several libraries on the University of Duhok campus. Each college has its own library branch focused specifically on maintaining a college-specific collection of books and resources.
Libraries have experienced library staff that can assist in locating books, periodicals and current material.
Some libraries have audiovisual material as well. All libraries associated with the college are constantly being updated and expanded.
The Presidency of the university established the Central Library in 1996 for its important role in providing for the needs of the students, professors and researchers.
In the near future, the university plans to implement a modern library system where students can access information using audiovisual materials and computers for electronic and internet services.

Trained counseling personnel are on staff to assist students with any psychological needs they may have that may interfere with their mental health and academic success.
The university also provides staffed private clinics for the public as its share of contribute to public health.
The teaching hospital of the College of Medicine is the main center for health care in addition to the dental clinic offering full-time services all yearround.
