If chess is your game, the UoD can help you. Each college has its own club where you can come and enjoy the game of Kings. So if you’re a beginner, or more experienced, we have all levels to suit you.
Joining a college chess club will not only increase your skills in the game, it will give you the chance to meet and make new friends.
You may be chosen to represent the university in college, regional and national championships.
Since 2005 up to the present day, the university chess team has taken part in many competitions at many levels, taking second and third place in many tournaments
