On May 2, 2024, a significant event unfolded at the College of Languages, University of Duhok, in the presence of Dr. Abuobaida Abdullah Dheyab, the Dean of the College of Languages, as esteemed individuals gathered for the signing of a historical tome titled "Dersoksor," authored by Sadiq Saleh. Dr. Marwan Maho Abdi, Head of the English Department, presided over the ceremony, joined by faculty members and students of the college.

In his remarks, renowned writer and translator Sadiq Salih highlighted the profound significance of "Dersoksor," emphasizing its role in illuminating the rich history, narratives, memories, and struggles of the Kurdish people. Sadiq Salih's literary journey commenced in the early 1980s, culminating in the publication of his inaugural book in 2005.
